These certifications are particularly important in sectors such as the automotive industry and other safety-critical areas.

Certification to functional safety standards involves rigorous testing, evaluation and verification to ensure that products or processes meet the specified safety requirements. Certification then confirms that the product or system meets certain safety standards and can therefore be considered functionally safe.

Individuals who have completed appropriate training at SGS-TÜV Saar can prove their acquired knowledge of standards through personal certification.
